Dr. Farahmand is a board certified female plastic surgeon in Ft Myers Florida. She received her fellowship training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic. There, she trained under some of the leaders in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery and treated patients from all over the world for cosmetic issues as well as reconstructive issues. Prior to this, she completed a full general surgery residency in Manhattan at Cabrini Medical Center, an affiliate of Mount Sinai Medical Center. She received her M.D. at Indiana University and specializes in all aspects of cosmetic surgery including facial, body contouring, and breast surgery.
Dr. Farahmand is Board Certified by and a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and Cambridge Who’s Who. She currently serves as President-Elect of the Lee County Medical Society and was recently selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in the field of Plastic Surgery. She has been named a US News Top Doctor and has also won the Patient’s Choice Award by Vitals.com.
